Michael McKee was charged in connection with the murders of his ex-wife and her husband, according to court and county records. He is alleged to have shot and killed the couple, Spencer and Monique Tepe, who police discovered with gunshot wounds in their Columbus home on Dec. 30. McKee was booked on Saturday by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office in Illinois after police released security footage earlier this week of a person of interest walking in an alley near the couple’s home between the window of time in which investigators believed they were attacked. McKee’s next court date is set for Monday.
