The state Championships started this weekend. Rio only really starts midweek, but Flamengo's match was moved forward to allow for, I think, the Supercopa date later.

Paulista began yesterday with a notable win for Santos (Gabigol scored). Most players are still on vacation though (for Palmeiras and Flamengo for example). And the Brasileirão starts in two and a half weeks.

Palmeiras and Corinthians won their first matches and São Paulo plays the last opening match today.
