A one-month-old infant was allegedly sold for Rs 35,000 by her parents in Odisha's Bhadrak district to clear a Rs 55,000 loan. The shocking incident surfaced after the child's grandmother filed a complaint. Police have detained the parents and the maternal grandmother for interrogation and are working with child protection agencies to locate the baby.
