An Indian student and his partner received $200,000 (nearly Rs 1.8 crore) and Master's degrees in a settlement with the University of Colorado Boulder. The couple alleged months of discrimination and retaliation after a staff member objected to the smell of Indian food. The university denied wrongdoing but agreed to the settlement.
