The Natural Selection Ski Super Session Roster Is Official, and It’s Stacked

Skiing fans already learned that this winter, the Natural Selection Ski Super Session was coming to Palisades Tahoe, California. Now, organizers have revealed which eight athletes will compete. 

The event serves as a qualifier for the Natural Selection finals, which debuted as a ski event last winter in Alaska. The circuit, a brainchild of snow sports star Travis Rice, previously only included snowboarders and drew considerable buzz when skiers got the opportunity to participate.  

From the Palisades Tahoe Super Session, one man and one woman will earn an automatic invitation to the YETI Natural Selection finals in Alaska. Second-place finishers are expected to be named alternates for the finals field.

This is who you can look forward to watching when the Natural Selection Ski Super Session goes live on March 17, 2026, on Red Bull TV.

Natural Selection Ski Super Session 2026 Roster

Women

• Elisabeth Gerritzen: “A Freeride World Tour Champion known for fluid skiing and smart decision-making in complex terrain.”
• Indy Boyer: “Part of a new generation of Tahoe’s brightest freeride skiers, Boyer brings a modern freestyle perspective to big-mountain lines.”
• Ana Eyssimont: The reigning Queen of Corbet’s and a film project veteran based out of Utah.”
• Hannah Epsteyn: “The youngest of the pack and reigning Freeride World Tour Junior champion, who will put her Palisades home field advantage to work.”

Men

• Teal Harle: “A 2x Olympian and X Games medalist who is pushing his freestyle-based style into the backcountry.”
• Connery Lundin: “The veteran of the field, a freeskiing Champion, and as a Palisades local, he knows this terrain better than anyone.”
• Jonah Williams: “A Powder Mountain, Utah-based skier [who] is widely regarded as one of freeskiing’s most creative talents with a deep bag of tricks just looking for natural features.”
• Parkin Costain: “Known for putting down impressive film parts in consequential terrain and was a finalist for 'Male Skier of the Year' at the 2025 IF3 Awards.”

The athletes for the Super Sessions were selected by the Natural Selection Ski Advisory Council, which includes the legends Chris Benchetler, Michelle Parker, Markus Eder, Mike Douglas, Candide Thovex, Sammy Carlson, and Kristi Leskinen. The roster, Natural Selection noted in a news release, is subject to change.
