A pretrial detention hearing has been scheduled for January 20. The DA in New Mexico has filed a motion to have the actor remain in custody until his trial, though his team will surely fight to get him released for that period.
After that hearing, the DA will bring their formal charges forward and Timothy will then be arraigned.
If the case goes to trial, it could last 12-18 months.
Timothy‘s lawyer says that the actor “took and passed an independent polygraph examination related to the allegations,” according to THR.
A Cleaning Lady crew member’s account was included in the warrant for Timothy‘s arrest.
