A 17-year-old faces manslaughter charges in Prince George, British Columbia. This follows the overdose death of a 16-year-old girl. She was found unconscious at a College Heights home and later died in hospital. High levels of fentanyl were detected in her blood. Police responded to the incident on June 26, 2024. The BC Prosecution Service approved the charge.
