White House identifies obscure bureaucrat as leader of interim Gaza government

The White House announced Friday that little-known former Palestinian Authority bureaucrat Dr. Ali Sha'ath will serve as leader of the fledging "technocratic" government that will rule the Gaza Strip if Hamas relinquishes control.
