€100k in cash stolen from house in Paralimni

The police on Monday said they are investigating a burglary in which €100,000 in cash was stolen from a house in Paralimni.

They said they believe the burglary took place on either Saturday or Sunday.

In addition, they said a similar burglary, at a jewellery store in Ayia Napa, was carried out at around 4am on Monday.

On that occasion, they said, items worth €200,000 were stolen.
