An elderly woman, Remdani Kandulna (73), was allegedly axed to death by her neighbour in Simdega district on suspicion of practicing witchcraft. The accused, Harshan Kandulna, has been arrested, and the weapon used in the crime has been seized. An FIR has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.
