Ranchi's Jhiri dumping yard is undergoing a significant transformation with its legacy waste remediation project. Over 6.75 lakh metric tonnes of accumulated waste have been processed since 2024, with the project now accelerating after initial delays. The scientific process segregates waste into biosoil, RDF, and inert material, aiming to clear the 33-acre site within 24 months.
