Trump says no military action planned over Greenland

US President Donald Trump said he will not use military force to acquire Greenland in his adress at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Trump delivered a speech lasting more than an hour before world leaders and business executives in the Swiss resort, repeatedly insisting that the United States needs Greenland for security reasons. He said he wanted immediate negotiations with Denmark over the territory, but stressed several times that he would not pursue a military option.
