Trump admin to release 3 million pages of Epstein files today
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced Friday that in a matter of hours, the Justice Department would be releasing a total of 3 million pages of files on Jeffrey Epstein, which will include 2,000 videos and 180,000 images.
The Trump administration has been under fire in recent weeks after failing to release all of the Epstein files in its possession, as it was required to do by Dec. 19 after the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Instead, the DOJ released only a small fraction of its files on Epstein by the deadline, and with redactions beyond the scope of what the law permitted.
Blanche also said that the DOJ was still in possession of 3 million more Epstein files, files that the agency was continuing to redact and would be released sometime in the future.
