Tottenham have drawn a clear red line ahead of Thomas Frank sack decision

0

Tottenham Hotspur have drawn a clear red line regarding Thomas Frank’s future as the team continues to struggle to pick up results.

Many Tottenham fans are surprised that the club have not decided to change managers yet, given that the Lilywhites are languishing in 14th place in the Premier League table.

Reports over the last few days indicate that Spurs will not sack Frank for now, despite the club’s failure to beat Burnley, but that does not mean the Dane is not at risk of losing his job soon.

A new report has shed light on when the Lilywhites will be forced to call time on the current project in N17.

Tottenham hierarchy may be forced to sack Thomas Frank under one condition

Football Insider back-up claims suggesting that Spurs are prepared to give Frank more time, but they say that the club are aware that a line has to be drawn at some stage.

Tottenham have now decided that they will be forced to get rid of the 52-year-old if the club are dragged any closer to a relegation battle.

Spurs now sit eight points clear of West Ham in 17th place, and if that gap is narrowed over the next few weeks, the former Brentford boss will be in grave danger of being sacked.

Why it seems unlikely Frank will survive for another month

Tottenham now face an extremely challenging fixture list over the next few weeks, with games against Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal coming up one after the other.

Given the form the North Londoners are in, the chances of them picking up a couple of wins out of those four matches seem slim.

It thus seems likely that they would be dragged closer to the drop zone over the next month, which may force them to make a big call on Frank’s future.
