Spurs now sit eight points clear of West Ham in 17th place, and if that gap is narrowed over the next few weeks, the former Brentford boss will be in grave danger of being sacked.

Why it seems unlikely Frank will survive for another month

Tottenham now face an extremely challenging fixture list over the next few weeks, with games against Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal coming up one after the other.

Given the form the North Londoners are in, the chances of them picking up a couple of wins out of those four matches seem slim.

It thus seems likely that they would be dragged closer to the drop zone over the next month, which may force them to make a big call on Frank’s future.
