Schitt's Creek's Dan Levy Pays Tribute to Catherine O'Hara After Her Death
Dan Levy is speaking out with a touching tribute for his late Schitt’s Creek co-star and on-screen mom Catherine O’Hara.
Following the shocking news that Catherine passed away at the age of 71, Dan took to his Instagram account to share a statement.
In addition to playing his mom on Schitt’s Creek, Catherine was a close family friend thanks to her 50-year friendship with Dan‘s father Eugene Levy.

“What a gift to have gotten to dance in the warm glow of Catherine O’Hara’s brilliance for all those years,” Dan wrote in his post.
He continued, “Having spent over fifty years collaborating with my Dad, Catherine was extended family before she ever played my family. It’s hard to imagine a world without her in it. I will cherish every funny memory I was fortunate enough to make with her. My heart goes out to Bo, Matthew, Luke and every member of her big, beautiful family.”
