Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions hit a new high in January. Value crossed Rs 28.33 lakh crore. Volume reached 21.70 billion transactions. This shows strong growth from the previous month. Daily transactions averaged 700 million. This digital payment system continues its impressive expansion across India.
