Trevor Noah Roasts Nicki Minaj Over Her Donald Trump Support at the Grammys 2026, Audience Applauds Her Absence
Trevor Noah could not let the Grammys pass without making a dig at Nicki Minaj over her very public support of President Donald Trump.
Just days after the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper proclaimed herself Trump‘s “no. 1 fan” at a summit, Trevor joked that the reason for her not being at the 2026 Grammys Awards is because “she’s still at the White House with Donald Trump.” Watch the clip here.

His joke was met with applause by the audience of musical artists. Actually, people started applauding when he started saying, “Nicki Minaj is not here. She is not here.” Chrissy Teigen could be seen behind the host giving a thumbs-up gesture to the camera.
He went on to say that Nicki and Trump were discussing “important issues” before launching into an impression of the President saying he has a “biggest a**.”
“Everybody’s saying it Nicki, I know they say it’s you, but it’s me. WAP WAP WAP, look at it. Look at it,” Trevor continued in his Trump voice.
Nicki also attended a special screening of Melania Trump‘s documentary Melania over the weekend.
