Doctors Without Borders said one of its hospitals in South Sudan was hit by an airstrike. The medical group said the strike was carried out by government forces on Tuesday night, marking the 10th attack on its facilities in the country in the past 12 months. The hospital, in the town of Lankien, had been evacuated hours earlier after the group received information about a possible attack. One staff member was injured, and the hospital’s main warehouse was destroyed, the group said in a statement. On Jan. 25, the army launched “Operation Enduring Peace,” which it said aimed to recapture towns that had been recently seized by opposition forces.
