Charli XCX's Upcoming Horror Movie Gets Big Update: Plot Revealed & New Cast Members Announced!

It was announced nearly a year ago that Charli XCX would be teaming up with Japanese horror director Takashi Miike on a new movie and now we finally know more about the project.

A plot for the movie and additional cast members have been revealed.

Charli will star in the upcoming movie alongside Milly Alcock and Norman Reedus, as well as Sho Kasamatsu and Kiko Mizuhara.

The movie does not yet have a title, but Variety is reporting that it will follow “three friends who meet up in the Japanese city of Kyoto only to see their holiday turn into a nightmare as Charli’s character is possessed by a tortured spirit.”

Charli‘s acting career has been taking off with her new movie The Moment, in theaters now, plus her upcoming appearance in Olivia Wilde‘s I Want Your Sex. She also appeared in last year’s Erupcja and 100 Nights of Hero.

She also just wrote and recorded the songs for the soundtrack of a new movie!
