YouTube TV Officially Announces Prices for 5 New Plans
In December 2025, YouTube TV announced it will be introducing YouTube TV plans in 2026, allowing subscribers the opportunity to create 10 genre-specific packages based on their preferences.
“TV should be easy, giving viewers greater control over what they want to watch. Our goal is to let you tailor your subscription with more options,” the company said at the time. “Whether you stick with our main YouTube TV plan with 100+ channels, focus on sports, combine sports and news, or select a plan centered on family and entertainment content, subscribers will be able to easily choose the plan that works best for them.”
On Monday, YouTube TV unveiled pricing for five of their new plans, along with details on what each would include for customers.
New YouTube TV plans revealed
The cheaper and more streamlined options include:
- Sports Plan - $64.99 per month, gives viewers access to "all the major broadcasters as well as sports networks like FS1, NBC Sports Network, all of the ESPN networks, and ESPN Unlimited (coming this fall)."
- Sports + News - $71.99 per month, in addition to the sports options, this plan includes networks such as "CNBC, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, in addition to CSPAN, Bloomberg, and Fox Business."
- Sports + News + Entertainment - $77.99 per month.
- Entertainment Plan - $54.99 per month, includes channels such as Comedy Central, Bravo, Paramount, Food Network, HGTV.
- News + Entertainment + Family - $69.99 per month, options in this tier include Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, National Geographic, Cartoon Network, PBS Kids, and more.
YouTube TV's base plan will remain $83 monthly and include over 100 channels.
Other genre-specific plans will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
Users will still have access to existing features and add-ons
YouTube TV genre-specific plan subscribers can still use features available on YouTube TV's base plan, including but not limited to unlimited DVR, the ability to add up to 6 members on one account, key plays and multiview.
Add-ons such as NFL Sunday Ticket + RedZone, HBO Max, and 4K Plus can also still be purchased.
