The Lafayette High School Lionettes Dance Team and Lafayette High Varsity Cheerleaders both won competitions, with the Lionettes placing 6th in the Nation in Small Varsity Hip Hop and the Varsity Cheerleaders placing 1st in both UCA Regional Competitions and the Nfinity Louisiana State Championship.
