This is the week when we all ought to be doing something special for our loved ones — be they romantic, platonic or somewhere in between. This is also the time of year when I typically break the news to readers that if you haven’t already made reservations at your favourite highfalutin romantic restaurant for this weekend, you are probably out of luck.
