US chipmaker KLA to invest ₹3,600 cr in Tamil Nadu for global R&D campus, signs MoU with state government

US-based semiconductor firm KLA has signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu government to invest $400 million (about ₹3,600 crore) to set up a global R&D and innovation campus in Chennai.
