Addison Rae's Dad Monty Lopez Arrested on Alleged Sex Crime Charge from 2024 Incident

Grammy-nominated singer Addison Rae‘s father Monty Lopez was arrested last year on an alleged sex crime charge.

The arrest just came to light after TMZ found court documents that note Monty was arrested on July 27, 2025.

Monty was arrested in Louisiana in connection with an incident that allegedly took place on August 31, 2024, nearly a full year earlier.

Monty is accused of exposing himself and faces charges of felony obscenity and a sex crime, according to TMZ.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office says that Monty is accused of “exposing his genitals, pubic hair, in a public place or place open to public view, or in any prison or jail, with the intent of arousing sexual desire or which appealed to the prurient interest or was patently offensive.”

Monty‘s bond was listed as $2,500 and he pled not guilty. Prosecutors want him imprisoned for “a year of hard labor.” A hearing is scheduled for March 19.

Addison and her father have had a strained relationship ever since he split from her mother, Sheri Easterling. They got married in 2004, welcoming Addison one year later, followed by sons Enzo and Lucas. They split at one point, but remarried in 2017 before splitting again in 2022 amid cheating allegations.

He allegedly had a five-month affair with a 25-year-old woman named Renée Ash. Monty later got married in October 2025 after a two-week whirlwind romance.
