Death at BART Civic Center station triggers major delay
SAN FRANCISCO – A man died after suffering a medical emergency Wednesday night at a San Francisco BART station, officials said.
The incident happened around 7:50 p.m. at the Civic Center station and triggered a major delay in the East Bay direction, according to BART spokesperson Chris Filippi.
The incident did not involve a train, Filippi said, adding that foul play is also not suspected.
