Nagaland has partnered with the India Meteorological Department to substantially upgrade its weather forecasting. Under the Mission Mausam Scheme, a Doppler Weather Radar will be installed in Dimapur. The project aims to enhance disaster preparedness, urban meteorology, and agricultural advisories, ultimately strengthening public safety and protecting lives and property across the state.
