Man Detained During Nancy Guthrie's Kidnapping Investigation is Publicly Speaking Out for the First Time
The man who was detained along with his mother amid the investigation in Nancy Guthrie‘s kidnapping is speaking out.
Luke Daley, 37, and his mom, 77, live approximately two miles away from Nancy. On February 13, a SWAT team raided their home after becoming the subject of two search warrants carried out that day.
This week, Luke sat down for an interview with Briana Whitney for True Crime Ariona.

He says he thinks he was targeted by law enforcement because people online said he looked like the masked person featured in the released Nest doorbell footage.
“It’s not me. I don’t see the resemblance of it looking like me. Absolutely not. I have nothing to do with this case,” he said. “Someone says something and then they just go off of it based on no evidence, no truth.”
During his detainment, his lawyer, Chris Scileppi shared the following statement.
Daley and his mother were both detained by law enforcement while the search warrants were being executed. Neither Daley nor his mother were arrested in connection to this case or any other. Daley has no link whatsoever to Nancy Guthrie and has no information related to her kidnapping. Like the entire Tucson community, both Daley and his mother are hopeful that Nancy will be returned to her family unharmed.
Nancy‘s daughter Savannah Guthrie was recently spotted out in public for the first time since her mother’s disappearance.
