But a humble pair of Skechers, useful for both jogging and all-day comfort, is often the perfect choice for casual athletics. The Skechers Go Run Supersonic Max Running Shoe is currently 44% off its usual $90 price point in all eight colorways available at Nordstrom Rack. The $50 price point deviates from Nordstrom Rack’s typical $60 low point for Skechers shoes. From what I've seen in my time writing about Skechers deals, if a Skechers shoe was below $60, it meant that stock was quite low and the push to get the rest out of the store was high. That's not happening here, but after people find out about the discount, it may be.

This shoe has a thick midsole, properly cushioned for comfortable wear, whether you’re running or walking. Then, there are ample ventilation holes in the breathable textile and synthetic upper. Another comfort feature worth noticing is the thick padding around the heel, somewhat reminiscent of older Asics Gel-Cumulus silhouettes. The shoe is designed with a 6 millimeter heel-to-toe drop and engineered to support runners who strike at the mid or forefoot.
The Supersonic comes in eight colorways in sizes 7 through 13, though the smaller sizes are starting to sell out or become low in stock in several variants. No matter what style you get, you’ll see a Skechers’ ‘SKX’ logo by the heel, three letters associated with athletically-oriented Skechers shoes as well as the brand’s former NYSE stock ticker.
