Kyle Chandler Trains Aaron Pierre In First 'Lanterns' Teaser - Watch Now!

The first look at the upcoming DC series Lanterns has just dropped!

HBO Max debuted the forthcoming drama’s first teaser trailer on Wednesday (March 4), featuring stars Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as new recruit John Stewart.

The teaser was supposed to drop on Thursday, but following leaks, it was released a day early!

Here’s a synopsis: The series follows new recruit John Stewart (Pierre) and Lantern legend Hal Jordan (Chandler), two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.

The cast also includes Kelly Macdonald, Poorna Jaganathan, Garret Dillahunt and Ulrich Thomsen, with another DC star reprising their role.

The series was originally supposed to debut early this year, but was delayed late last year to premiere this summer.

Lanterns will now debut in August, with an exact date to be revealed at a later date.
