My dad served in WW2 in the navy, as normal never spoke much about it, except I knew he was in African dessert campaign then over to Italy. He spoke briefly about Tubruk and it being a covert op etc. Circumstances are now, I happen to be going through his old stuff including loads of photos from his time serving. One in particular caught my eye because another person in photo resembled Robert 'Paddy' Blair Mayne, out of Rogue Heroes. I used AI to ask who the person was, confirming it was Paddy!!
This no doubt will be the start of a journey studying all the other photos. If I knew how to attach the photo I would!
