Jharkhand's National Health Mission is boosting preparations for heatwave illnesses. Civil surgeons across all 24 districts are instructed to enhance hospital arrangements for prevention, monitoring, and treatment. Hospitals will set up heatstroke management units. Public awareness campaigns will also be conducted. Temperatures are rising, with further increases expected soon.
