Cheltenham 2026 (6 replies)
Well it’s here, just in time to help us forget our footballing troubles, at least for a day or so.
The weather seems set fair, so there should be no excuses for anyone.
There has been a lot of talk about the British horses faring better this week, I hope they are right we need competitive racing, however as Tuesday approaches I’m beginning to think the hope may be a bit premature, I liken it to when Blues sign a player, they do something decent against poor opposition and we hype them up, we so badly want them to be good we exaggerate their ability, most of the time they end up being bang average. I feel some of the British horses have looked top class, but by the end of the week they may look…well…bang average. Hopefully I’m wrong because I have backed some of them (I’ll never learn).
I shall be putting my selections for tomorrow on here in a bit.
