Israel strikes Iranian nuclear labs in Tehran
Israeli media reported that nuclear laboratories in Tehran were targeted in overnight strikes as attacks against the Islamic Republic intensified. The reported strikes hit sensitive scientific and research facilities linked to Iran’s nuclear programme.
According to Israel’s Channel 12, citing Israeli sources, the attacks took place on the night of March 10 and were aimed at damaging Iran’s nuclear development infrastructure and key research sites in the capital.
Iranian authorities have not yet issued an official response to the reported strikes. Details about possible casualties, structural damage, or the exact facilities targeted remain unclear.
The attack comes ten days after the start of a joint US-Israel military campaign against Iran, with the scale and intensity of regional hostilities continuing to rise rapidly.
As missile exchanges continue and strategic installations are targeted on both sides, analysts warn that the conflict risks expanding across the Gulf region if hostilities persist.
Tensions have sharply escalated in recent weeks following coordinated military actions by the United States and Israel aimed at weakening Iran’s military and nuclear capabilities.
Regional fears have also grown after Iran reportedly targeted sites linked to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, raising concerns that Gulf states could become directly involved in the conflict.
Meanwhile, disruptions in oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz and a surge in global oil prices above $100 per barrel have heightened economic and security concerns worldwide.
