Legendary Rapper Back on Billboard Charts for First Time in 20 Years (Not T.I.)
As the warmer weather is slowly peaking around the corner, it looks like some millennials' favorite rappers from the early 2000s are heating up the Billboard charts heading into the spring. Grammy-winning rapper T.I. just bagged his first Billboard Hot 100 hit since 2014’s "No Mediocre,” with the new club-banger “Let em Know” (A personal new favorite of mine). And T.I. is climbing the charts despite his ongoing heated beef with 50 Cent.
However, T.I. isn’t the only legendary rapper cranking out hits these days. Another Southern rapper (from New Orleans, Louisiana, to be exact) is also storming up the Billboard Hot 100 charts, landing on the chart for the first time since 2006.
Juvenile and Megan Thee Stallion’s “B.B.B.” Debuts on the Billboard Hot 100
Back on January 23 of this year, Juvenile released the hip-hop single “B.B.B.” Right away, fans started falling in love with the track, but thought something was missing, or rather someone. Social media users thought the track could use some special sauce from the one and only Megan the Stallion. Fans practically begged to have the “Savage” rapper spit a verse or two on the song, and they got their wish on February 27, when the official remix of “B.B.B.” featuring Megan Thee Stallion dropped.
The Grammy-winning femcee delivered in spades on the track, showcasing once again that she has a top-tier flow and a knack for coming up with some memorable lyrics, with “A YN can’t do shit for me, I need old money, AARP,” being some of the standout rap bars.
The winning combo between Juvenile and Megan Thee Stallion earned the duo a top 100 debut on the charts, coming in at #67. For Juvenile, this marks his first time on the chart since his 2006 hit, “Rodeo.” For Megan Thee Stallion, this is her first time back on the charts since “Lover Girl” dropped at the end of 2025. If you’ve yet to check out the smash hit “B.B.B.,” you can check it out below. And be on the lookout for a video, as Megan Thee Stallion suggested it’s time for one.
