‘Avatar 3’ draws near as new details and poster revealed

Tengrinews.kz – The long-awaited third installment of James Cameron’s "Avatar" franchise is picking up steam, with the first official poster and new character details unveiled by 20th Century Studios.
The studio introduced a new character named Varang, described as the leader of the Ash People and the primary antagonist of Avatar: Fire and Ash.
According to the official announcement on the studio’s Instagram page, the trailer for the upcoming film will debut this weekend in international cinemas ahead of Fantastic Four: Origins screenings.

The cast will feature returning stars including Kate Winslet, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, and Sam Worthington. The plot will follow Jake Sully and his family as they face new challenges on Pandora.
Avatar 3 is slated for global theatrical release on December 19, 2025.
The first Avatar film, released in 2009, was hailed as a cinematic breakthrough, and its 2022 sequel Avatar: The Way of Water marked the franchise’s long-awaited return after a 13-year gap.
