Philippine court rules Senator Poe is qualified to run for president

MANILA (Reuters) - The Philippine Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled a neophyte senator is eligible to succeed President Benigno Aquino as president, reversing a Commission on Elections decision to disqualify her as a candidate in a May election.
