Some S.C. Republicans open to banning gun sales to terror suspects, but legislation remains elusive

WASHINGTON — Some Republicans, including members of the South Carolina congressional delegation, are open to conversations with Democrats on how to make it harder for individuals on terrorist watch lists to buy guns.
