Gina Lopez accepts DENR post

Environmental advocate Gina Lopez has already accepted the offer of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte to be the new secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

"After much introspection, I have decided to accept it and let's see what happens," Lopez said right after talking to Duterte over the phone on Tuesday night following her speech on an awarding ceremony for excellent schools in Quezon City.
