Rocket fire kills at least 8 in Syrian capital: monitor

Rebel rocket fire into Old Damascus on Sunday killed at least eight people and wounded more than 20, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.

The Britain-based monitor said the rockets were fired from rebel positions on the outskirts of the capital and struck several neighbourhoods in the city centre.
