28 Russians face action over Sochi doping - IOC

Disciplinary action has been started against 28 Russians suspected of doping at the Sochi Winter Games, the International Olympic Committee said Friday.

The IOC said the action was being taken following evidence produced by World Anti-Doping Agency investigator Richard McLaren.

McLaren has accused Russia of "state-sponsored" doping, using the intelligence services to organise the swapping of samples at Sochi in 2014.
