New heatwave coming to Kazakhstan from Iran

Tengrinews.kz — Kazhydromet forecasters have presented the weather forecast for August 6, 7 and 8.

According to the forecast, another increase in heat is expected in Kazakhstan. Warm air masses coming from areas of Iran will bring strong heat to the country’s western and southern regions.

Temperatures in the south to rise to +42

In southern Kazakhstan, air temperatures will rise to +37…+42 degrees. Strong heat is expected amid the arrival of warm air masses from the south.

It will also become hot in the western regions, where thermometers will show +34…+39 degrees.

Rain and thunderstorms in the north

At the same time, weather conditions will differ noticeably across the country. A northwestern cyclone and associated atmospheric fronts will continue to affect northern and eastern Kazakhstan. Rain with thunderstorms and stronger winds is expected there, with hail possible in some areas.

Temperatures in the north will remain significantly lower: during the day, the air will warm up to +22…+27 degrees.
