Seeking a compromise on her level of protection, Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya wrote a letter to Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė but received no response. The prime minister's representatives confirmed receipt of the letter. Still, they noted that the Security Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had been in active communication with the opposition leader's team.
