iPhone 6 'Error 53': Apple Inc. Faces Class-Action Lawsuit Over Smartphone Security Feature

Apple is facing a class-action lawsuit over an iOS software update that can render iPhones useless if the screen is repaired by a vendor not approved by the company.  The update, part of Apple’s iOS 9, is intended to protect data secured by the iPhone 6's Touch ID sensor, which became a more serious issue with the introduction of Apple Pay.

Bond guru Gary Shilling thinks the 10-year Treasury yield is heading to 1% (TLT, TLO, USD, DXY)

Gary Shilling is talking about bonds again.

This time in an interview with Bloomberg's Andrea Wong, Shilling — who was Merrill Lynch's first economist in the 1980s — is repeating his forecast that the benchmark 10-year yield will fall to 1%.

The record low on the 10-year yield was 1.38% in July 2012.

Shilling holds a "this time is different" argument for maintaining this call.

Shares of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc. are up 4.7% in premarket trading after it reported fourth-quarter earnings that beat Street estimates and a $100 million share repurchase program. The restaurant chain had net income of $11.7 million, or 84 cents per share, up from $3.9 million, or 28 cents per share, for the same period last year. Adjusted earnings were 86 cents per share, beating the FactSet consensus of 81 cents.
