Groupon announced stronger than expected earnings on Thursday. Wall Street was pleased with the deals site's revenue of $917.2 million against expectations of $845.9 million, and Groupon stock skyrocketed 27% on Friday morning in response.

It's a big win for Groupon's new CEO Rich Williams, who took over in November after a rough couple of years for the company following its IPO in 2012.

Victoria's Secret's longtime CEO, Sharen Jester Turney, is resigning, according to a release from the parent company L Brands.

Turney has worked with Victoria's Secret for almost 16 years. She was the president and CEO of Victoria's Secret Direct as of 2000, and she became CEO of the flagship company in 2006.

According to the release, she is leaving the brand to focus on her family and her life outside work.

Apple's reportedly doing an original scripted TV show with Dr. Dre, and it'll have 'no shortage of violence and sex' (AAPL)

Apple has bankrolled a scripted TV series starring Dr. Dre, according to a story by The Hollywood Reporter on Friday.

The show is called "Vital Signs" and will star Beats cofounder Dr. Dre. Six 30-minute episodes have reportedly been ordered, and all will be released in one batch.
