Taxi passengers could pay up to $10 extra for booking in peak hours, including Friday and Saturday nights and the eve of public holidays, if a proposal of review of taxi fares is adopted.

(AP) — The Arkansas Parole Board has approved parole for a former University of Central Arkansas administrator who was convicted on burglary charges for helping a student steal tests. The parole board said Gillean must complete an employment plan, abstain from drug and alcohol use, perform community service and have no contact with the student involved in the burglary.
