The British pound is stronger by 0.9% at 1.4607 against the dollar at 7:46 a.m. ET.

This follows a new poll conducted by the ORB for the Daily Telegraph, which suggests that "Remain" is building a big lead in the Brexit vote.

55% of respondents said they back staying in the EU, compared to just 42% who said they want to leave.

The referendum will take place on June 23.

The Venezuelan bottler of Coca-Cola has halted production of the sugar-sweetened beverage due to a lack of the ingredient, a Coca-Cola Co. spokeswoman said Monday. Venezuela is in the midst of a deep recession, and spontaneous demonstrations and looting have become more common amid worsening food shortages, frequent power cuts and the world's highest inflation. Production of sugar-sweetened drinks has stopped, but output of diet drinks such as Diet Coke and other zero-sugar beverages continues, spokeswoman Kerry Tressler wrote by email.
