Lockheed receives $323 million F-35 contract

WASHINGTON, July 1 (UPI) -- Lockheed Martin Aeronautics awarded a $323 million U.S. Navy contract for a laboratory to build, test, modify and deliver F-35 Lightning II mission data files.

In a summer-movie season when almost nothing the Hollywood studios put out seems to be working, there is one thing that's saving the year: animated movies.

Leading players, many of which are valued at $1 billion or more, are cutting jobs. Loan volumes are plummeting.

One Wall Street stock analyst summed it up in two brutal sentences.
