North Korea fires submarine-launched ballistic missile

SEOUL — North Korea fired what appeared to be a submarine-launched ballistic missile off its east coast Saturday, the U.S. and South Korea said, the latest in a string of tests that are part of efforts by the North to advance technology capable of delivering nuclear warheads. Antioch raid yields cache of weapons, drugs, money; 2 men held

People of all ages showed up for the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library’s 25 Cent Comic Book Sale, which ran until 4 p.m. at 1630 17th Street.
