The deal, which went into effect in January, limited Iran's nuclear program in return for lifting some sanctions. Tehran is still struggling to attract large-scale foreign investment and many multinational companies remain fearful of U.S. prosecution or fines for doing business with Iran.

Lingerie company Adore Me is not shy about how it wants to compete with Victoria's Secret.

"We aim to slay Victoria's Secret," Sharon Klapka, Adore Me's director of business and brand development, told Business Insider, last summer.
