Prosecutor: 2 Muncie officers justified in fatal shooting

MUNCIE, Ind. — An eastern Indiana deputy prosecutor says two Muncie police officers were justified in shooting a man armed with a knife. Delaware County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Eric Hoffman said Monday that he made that determination after reviewing the state police investigation into the death of 31-year-old Larry Step of Muncie on June 4.
